1 What is the title of the BTEC qualification you are studying?
Thte title of the course is BTEC level 3 creative media production.
This qualification will take a whole two years to complete.
3 How many units will you study in total?
we have got seven units to complete for the year.
4 How many of them are mandatory and what does mandatory mean?
three of the units are mandatory and four are not and mandantry means that the unit is compusory.
5 What are the titles of the mandatory units and when (in the year) will you study them?
unit 1- pre-production techniques for the creative media industries
unit 2- communication skills for creative media production
unit 3- research techniques for creative media industries
unit 1 and 2 is going to be done in the first year and unit 3 is going to be done in the second year.

2 Be able to prepare pre-production documentation for a specific media production

7 How many optional units will you have to study and what does optional mean?
we will have to do 4 optional units, but optional means that you dont have to do it.
8 What are the titles of the optional units you will study and when (in the year) will you study them?
unit 23- multi camera techniques
unit 29- music video production
unit 27- factual programme production techniques for television
unit 30- advertisement production for television
unit 23 and 29 is going to be done in the first year and unit 27 and 30 is going to be done in the second year.

The personal skills i will be devloping is independance and confidence.
independance to control and look after my work and the confidence to be able to act out. another skill will also be the contribution to ideas for a group or to a class as a whole.
