Evaluation

We had to do a short sequenced clip for the encounter, this little project was for us to get use to many skills with the camera and for us also to do some storyboarding.
There was new camera language for every media and that was 180 degree rule, match on action, motivated cut and matched cut. All these shots were key in our filming because without these our filming wouldn’t be complete without it.

180 degree rule
In film making, the 180-degree rule is a basic guideline regarding the on-screen relationship between a character and another character or object within a scene. An imaginary line called the axis connects the characters and by keeping the camera on one side of this axis for every shot in the scene, the first character will always be frame right of the second character, who is then always frame left of the first. If the camera passes over the axis, it is called crossing the line or jumping the line.

match on action
Match on action is a filming skill where you make something smooth instead of being jumpy, this creates smoothness with the filming clip.
It uses two different clips and join them together to make it smooth.
matched cut
A match cut, also called a graphic match, is a cut in film editing between either two different objects, two different spaces, or two different compositions in which an object in the two shots graphically match, often helping to establish a strong continuity of action and linking the two shots metaphorically.

shot reverse shot
Shot reverse shot (or shot/counter shot) is a film technique where one character is shown looking at another character (often off-screen), and then the other character is shown looking back at the first character. Since the characters are shown facing in opposite directions, the viewer assumes that they are looking at each other.
improvements
If I was to do improvements I would have given more description in my storyboards to make it really good.
I would have chosen an appropriate room to do the filming because the room we used look to much like a classroom.
Overall I think we done really well for our first attempt of filming.
